Elsyng House launches memory café for the community
New launch of memory café for the community in Enfield
Elsyng House is delighted to be opening a memory café to offer support to people living with dementia in the community.
Elsyng House will be running the first of its fortnightly memory café on Tuesday 28th September, which will give people and their families a chance to meet and relax together, share experiences and get advice and information from the home’s dementia specialists.
Elsyng House offers residential, nursing, memory and respite care, with a dedicated memory care unit where carers are further trained.

We’re here to support you
Elsyng House team members will be on hand, to answer any questions people may have, to take away worries or anxieties, but above all the aim is for everyone to come along and enjoy themselves. The café will offer lunch and the opportunity to join in with planned activities by our Lifestyles team. Visitors can have their hair and nails done and if people request it, team members are happy to do informal assessments of the likely needs of their loved ones.
Visitors will be asked to take a lateral flow test at the care home before entering and will be required to wear a face mask.
The memory café is free and is open to anyone who has dementia, including the home’s residents, their families and carers. It runs from 12:00pm to 2.00pm and booking is essential.
