Rebecca Warman
General Manager
I’ve worked in health and social care for over 20 years now, I started as a Care Assistant and quickly knew I was on the right career path. With 8 years management experience, I’ve previously been employed as an Assisted Living Manager, Deputy Manager, Area Manager and Registered Manager for multiple supported living sites. I’m passionate about providing the highest quality care, and enjoy this most when working with other dedicated team members, who are also motivated to improve the lives of others. When not at work I enjoy a variety of activities and can often be found enjoying some sort of sea or land-based adventure. -
Martin Law
Head Chef
I have worked at many local pubs and restaurants to Wantage, including The Boars Head Ardington and The Bear Hotel. I moved into contract catering at Rutherford Laboratories and worked in many outside catering locations including Blenheim Palace and Pinewood Studios. I started working in residential homes in 2009 at Richmond Villages Letcombe, near Wantage where I was Sous Chef. I moved on to Oakenholt Care Home near Oxford, where the tv series Waiting for God was filmed. I then moved to Chawley Grove Residential Nursing Home to open a brand-new kitchen, before I left and came to Elmbrook Court. -
Jim Macleod
Head of Client and Resident Experience
Following an extensive career in Customer Service, I have joined the Oakland Care Family at Elmbrook Court, to provide an exceptional experience for families and individuals looking for that little bit extra. I am passionate about providing exceptional care and promoting independence, laughter and stimulation to achieve wellbeing and happiness. I'm a dementia champion with the Alzheimer’s Society and have been actively involved with dementia events to provide support and information to local groups and relatives.
