Claudiu Lucean
General Manager
I joined Oakland Care in October 2019 at our Lambwood Heights Care Home in Chigwell and have since gone from strength to strength. I have seven years of experience working in the Social Care sector, previously as a Paramedic Nurse in my home country of Romania. I am passionate about working in Social Care as it allows me to ensure our residents are safe, cared for and all their care and clinical needs are met. I also enjoy the interaction with our residents and relatives on a daily basis. I am passionate about my work as I can help people in need to live a happy, safe and independent life where everyone is treated individually, and their quality of life is maintained. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, football, socialising, visiting new places and discovering new cultures around the world. -
Chloe Olson
Deputy Manager
I started working in care in 2019 after completing my Level 3 in Health and Social Care at College. I have always been a very ambitious person and have always strived to be the best that I can be. I started as a Carer In 2019 and quickly realised that this is where I belong - helping others in the care sector, and this is where my career goals began. Within a year, I worked my way up to Team Leader and then in 2022, I was promoted to Deputy Manager to become a Registered Home Manager in 5 years. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, sewing, and knitting. I also enjoy listening to my favourite music artists from the 1950s-1970s. I have an old soul, as some would say. -
Michael Marley
Senior Client Relations Manager
I am delighted to have joined the Oakland Care family as Senior Client Relations Manager for Birchwood Heights and Maplewood Court. My experience in the role goes back 11 years now, including the commissioning of a new care home. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than assisting families to explore full time care options, whilst sharing insights during what is often a stressful time for them. Outside of work, my biggest passion has always been travel, which hopefully will become easier again in the fullness of time! -
Neal Whittle
Client Relations Assistant
As one of the newest members of the Clients Relations Team for Kent, I’m very proud to be a part of the Oakland Care family. I originally trained as a photographer and photographic printer back in the days of film! From shooting family portraits in the studio one day to being in the darkroom the next, it was a varied job. Working for Oakland Care has been by far the most personally rewarding; helping residents and their families navigate what can be a difficult and stressful pathway to happiness gives me immense pleasure. Our residents are at the heart of everything we do here at Oakland Care, and I feel truly humbled to be a part of it. Outside of work, I enjoy getting out in the fresh air, either on my bike or walking in the countryside.
