“My mum has been a resident at Woodland Grove for several years now, having moved from a different care home, and quite honestly, I could not imagine her being in better care. The home and its staff are outstanding. From the day my family and I first visited the site, to the day Mum moved in and every day since, they have exceeded everything I thought a care home could be, by far. I’m usually quite reserved, but it would be a disservice not to give them full marks across the board. Not only do I thank them for caring for my mum, and giving her and the other residents a real home, amazing food and a calendar full of activities and events, but for what they’ve done for my dad and all my family as well.”

“From day one, every member of staff that I have come into contact with have always been very welcoming and helpful. The team of staff on the Primrose floor have been extremely helpful and patient with my numerous questions. I feel happy and confident that when I leave my brother I will be contacted should they have any concerns which is very reassuring. The care and support my brother receives is first class, he has settled in extremely well in a very short time. He seems a lot happier in himself and very comfortable in his new surroundings. I would highly recommend Woodland Grove.”

“I would not be happy for my mother to be in any other care home. Snowdrop is wonderful, together with the staff. We researched care homes over 2 years and used this one as our benchmark. The diversity of staff is so important for her where she has a mixture of carers. Her hair is plaited and washed regularly. We love that she has this care. The carers are absolute angels who really do care for her. She is so happy there where she is allowed to roam Snowdrop ward, talk to other residents and eat with them. She does not feel isolated in any way. The staff are amazing.”

“The home is more like a 5-star hotel with care rather than a traditional care home. Every room is spotlessly clean and the staff are very patient, caring and accommodating and nothing is too much trouble for them. There are activities for the residents every day and Mum can just sit and watch if she doesn’t feel that she wants to participate. She is not forced to do anything and can sit in any of the lovely lounges. She has made friends and seems very happy and settled. I am happy with Woodland Grove because my Mum is happy and that takes the pressure off me by knowing she is being cared for in a dignified and well-run environment.”

“The staff at Woodland Grove make a real effort to give the residents a good range of activities to interest all and lift spirits. The atmosphere is happy and welcoming. There are always beautiful flowers around and often lifting music playing in the corridors. My mother has been very happy there for over three years now and would be very sad to be moved anywhere else.”
