Woodland Grove’s Macmillan Coffee Morning and Brave the Shave
Residents at Woodland Grove Care Home will raise a mug for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning
Our Woodland Grove Care Home residents will be taking part in the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning on the 25th of September. Residents will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and help support those people living and affected by cancer.
Honesty Table
To make sure the most amount of people can get involved in this great cause, the home will be hosting an honesty table outside it’s Summerhouse.
During the week (21st – 25th September) families visiting will be able to help themselves to individually wrapped baked treats in exchange for leaving a donation.
Due to Covid-19, the home will be hosting a socially distanced coffee morning where all of the necessary restriction and precautions will be in place.
Brave the Shave
The charity emotionally, physically and financially supports people going through treatment for cancer, and is made up of people who have survived cancer, or whose lives have been affected by the disease.
Nicola wanted to make a positive difference and has kindly volunteered to Brave the Shave. Nicola will be shaving her head for this wonderful cause and is hoping to raise a total of £100 or more.
You can support Nicola and help raise money through the home’s JustGiving Page.
