Oakland Care’s Senior Leaders Shortlisted for The Social Care Leadership Awards
We are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted as finalists in The Social Care Leadership Awards in the categories of ‘Workforce Development Leader’ and ‘Quality Assurance Leader’.
Congratulations to Mo Quadri, our Director of People & Organisational Development for being shortlisted as a finalist for the “Workforce Development Leader Award’, a strategic leader who can demonstrate their organisation’s approach to robust recruitment, retention and development planning for its workforce.
Mo stated, “Being named a finalist in the Workforce Development category is a really proud moment for me but it is also recognition of the commitment of everyone at Oakland Care. I work with a group of incredibly talented individuals whose dedication to living our values is demonstrated on a day-to-day basis. From approving a gourmet menu in one of our Homes to organising a “Green Day” or planning the learning and development of our team members. What we have achieved in the past year across every area of the business is nothing short of a miracle and could not have been done without the dedication of all our team members.
Thank you, Joanne Balmer, for the nomination and good luck to all the Finalists. Here’s hoping that I actually win! Wouldn’t that be something.”
Congratulations to Pauline Cichy, our Director of Care and Governance, for also being shortlisted as a finalist for the ‘Quality Assurance Leader Award’, a leader will demonstrate how their organisation’s quality is enhanced and continually improved upon by effective quality assurance processes and measures. The will evidence how they involve managers and staff to engage positively to identify quality improvements and create a quality lead organisation
Pauline stated, “Being nominated for The Quality Assurance Leader Award rendered me speechless, which those who know me will understand is in itself a significant event! Thank you Joanne Balmer for the nomination which I so appreciate.
I am proud to be part of an organisation whose people are truly dedicated to providing exceptional care with all elements of quality encapsulated and the resident at the centre. It has taken me a few years to find such an organisation. Should I win the award I am likely to be speechless for a pretty long time!”
These unique awards are recognising, celebrating and promoting great leadership in the Social Care Sector, over and above Registered Manager level and share knowledge and expertise in leadership and also demonstrates strong, innovative leadership to ensure a quality outcome that makes a real difference to care delivery.
