Oakland Care raise over £450 for Macmillan Cancer Support

Oakland Care has raised over £450 for Macmillan Cancer Support at our Coffee Mornings on Friday 28th September 2018.

Staff, residents, family and friends at our Hastings Court, Woodland Grove and Beechwood Grove Care Homes, and staff at our Oakland Care  Head Office all took part in Macmillan’s World Biggest Coffee Morning. Freshly baked pastries, show-stopping cakes and pretty cupcakes were all for sale and were enjoyed with a fresh cup of coffee at this nationwide fundraising event. As well as enjoying a cup of coffee and slice of cake, the staff took part in a companywide cake decorating competition.

Macmillan Cancer Support offers advice and support to those affected by cancer, right from diagnosis. Thank you to everyone that took part in our Coffee Mornings and helped us raise money for this great cause.
