Daniel joined the Oakland Care family looking for a new career path, bringing with him a wealth of experience from the cleaning industry. Before joining our team, he worked for an agency conducting COVID tests in the community. His background also includes cleaning caravans, schools, supermarkets, and offices, showcasing his versatility and commitment to quality service.

Daniel became a Housekeeper to embrace a new challenge and to give back to the community. His choice to work in the care industry reflects his passionate desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives. When he spotted a vacancy at Oakland Care, he knew this was the perfect opportunity to pivot his career in a meaningful direction.

Outside of his professional life, Daniel is proud to be a father. He considers fatherhood his most memorable achievement, embracing every moment spent with his son. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys banger racing when he can, combining his love for speed with a sense of adventure.

Reflecting on his personality, if Daniel were an animal, he would choose to be a dog, symbolising loyalty and companionship. His favourite colour, red, resonates with vitality and strength, which mirrors his approach to life.

When it comes to snacks, Daniel has a sweet tooth for Jammy Dodgers—his favourite biscuit that perfectly pairs with his lighter side. An intriguing food debate that often arises is about pineapple on pizza, to which Daniel responds with a resounding “most definitely!”

Daniel draws inspiration from his favourite film, “Christine” by Stephen King, which speaks to his love for storytelling and the thrill of the unexpected.

As for the future, Daniel is determined to work hard over the next three years, with hopes of making a substantial difference in the lives of those he cares for. His dedication to his role at Hastings Court exemplifies the core values of Oakland Care, demonstrating that every team member plays a vital role in providing exceptional care.
