Elmbrook Court Care Home Launches New Friendship Café
Elmbrook Court Opens New Friendship Care
Elmbrook Court is welcoming the local community to its new friendship café starting on Monday 23rd May 2022, so local people can build friendships with people locally on their doorstep.
The friendship café will take place on the last Monday of every month, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The community is invited to come along to Elmbrook Court Care Home in Wantage and to enjoy its free friendship Café community initiative. Aiming to combat loneliness and isolation, the café is open to those who live alone or just want some companionship. Guests can enjoy a chat over coffee and cake with like-minded people and make new friends in the community.
Rebecca Warman, General Manager at Elmbrook Court, said: “Our Group’s mission is to provide exceptional homes for people to live, love and be loved where everyone is part of our family, and this also extends to those in the community who may be feeling lonely or isolated. At Elmbrook Court, we provide a warm and welcoming environment where people can experience a sense of belonging and can build friendships with others who live locally. No one should be lonely, so come along to our friendship café and make new friends whilst relaxing with a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake”.
Elmbrook Court provides 74 individual en-suite rooms and state-of-the-art facilities, including a café bistro, cinema room, hair and nail salon, activities room, private dining room and multiple air-conditioned lounges, some with balconies that overlook the landscaped courtyard garden areas.
