Celebrating Mother’s Day at Our Oakland Care Homes

This Mother’s Day, our Oakland Care Homes came alive with love, laughter, and celebrations as they honoured the incredible mothers within our community. At each of our homes, residents and team members joined together to create an unforgettable day filled with special moments.

At Beechwood Grove, our talented kitchen team went the extra mile, serving up Prosecco and an array of delicious treats for visitors to enjoy with their mums. It was a lovely way to share precious moments together. In the spirit of creativity, our residents also participated in arts and crafts for a secret project that the home can’t wait to reveal!

Birchwood Heights kicked off their festivities a day early, with both team members and residents coming together to craft Mother’s Day favours. The celebrations continued with a delightful tulip flower arranging session followed by a sumptuous High Tea in the Bistro, creating an atmosphere of love and appreciation for all mothers.

Elmbrook Court Care Home celebrated the strong and caring women in their lives. With a focus on the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures, they made it a priority to ensure they felt cherished every day. Happy Mother’s Day the team at Elmbrook Court, where they love to celebrate the women who fill their lives with love, wisdom, and warmth.

At Hyllden Heights, they were thrilled by the wonderful turnout of families who came together to honour their mothers. With plenty of bubbles, nibbles, and, most importantly, family presence, the day was filled with appreciation.

Maplewood Court families joined in honouring not only their beautiful mothers but all caregivers who dedicate their love and support.

At Woodland Grove, they celebrated in style with a vibrant gathering that showcased togetherness. Families came together to share in the festivities, and even hosted a jewellery workshop led by Paul, allowing the residents to craft lovely gifts.

Osbern Manor also celebrated with an afternoon tea that brought everyone together in the Bistro. With delicious refreshments prepared by the talented kitchen team, they took a moment to honour all mothers—great-grandmothers, grandmothers, daughters, aunties, sisters, friends, step-mothers, and foster mums. Each woman who has touched lives in meaningful ways was celebrated and appreciated.
