Celebrating Father’s Day

Father’s Day at Oakland Care is a cherished occasion, and this year, our Woodland Grove and Hyllden Heights Care Homes hosted celebrations to honour the fathers and father figures in our care home communities.

At Woodland Grove, the residents gathered in the beautiful garden for an unforgettable celebration. The sun shone brightly as families came together to enjoy the day and cheer on their favourite football team, creating a lively atmosphere filled with camaraderie and shared enthusiasm.

It was a wonderful way to celebrate the special day, filled with happy memories and fun moments.

Meanwhile, at Hyllden Heights, the celebration took on a different yet equally heartwarming vibe. Residents enjoyed the soothing melodies of the talented Danill, who played beautiful music on his violin. This performance set a lovely backdrop as everyone enjoyed exquisite cakes baked by our dedicated catering team. The combination of delicious treats and lively music created a warm, inviting environment, perfect for celebrating the special dads in our lives.
