Due to growing occupancy of our beautiful new, state-of-the-art care home in Eastbourne has a variety of full and part-time positions to fill, including Care Assistants and Senior Care Assistants.
If you’re interested in a rewarding career with us and you’re a caring, compassionate and committed person, visit our Recruitment Open Days to find out more.
We’ll be at The Locker Room, Devonshire Park Centre, College Road, Eastbourne, BN21 4JJ on Friday 8th February & Friday 1st March. Bring along your CV or complete our application form on the day and have a chat with a member of our friendly team.
Our purpose-built home provides residential, nursing, dementia and respite care in 58 en-suite rooms and we offer staff a ‘5-star’ environment in which to work.
Manager, Jeff Levine, says: “Our occupancy has grown considerably in the last six months and we now need to expand our care team as we welcome more residents into Beechwood Grove. We look after our staff and offer training opportunities so this is a great place to work if you want to see your career in care progress.”
Sam Young, 30, started as a Care Assistant at Beechwood Grove in August last year. He moved into the care sector several years ago after working as a hotel waiter. He was promoted to Senior Care Assistant in January.
“I love talking to the older people I’m caring for, I love hearing their stories,” he said. “Care is a great carer, there is an opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives on
a daily basis. Beechwood Grove is a great place to work, not least because it is purpose-built which makes our job much easier when it comes to supporting the people who’ve made this their home.”
We’re looking for experienced care professionals as well as those who are interested in a new career, as training and apprenticeships are available, both of which can lead to formal NVQ qualifications. “The most important quality we are looking for is passion and commitment,” said Jeff. “It is a hard but immensely rewarding profession and we offer close support and training for anyone who is interested in joining us.”
