Birchwood Heights Holds Its First Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Birchwood Heights Care Home
Our Birchwood Heights Care Home are experiencing lots of first times. The care home held its very first Christmas and in celebration of this, they held an inaugural lighting ceremony.
Generally, Christmas is a time for traditions and we are delighted that Birchwood Heights have started their own family tradition, where the youngest team member on shift and the most senior resident light the Christmas tree together! This year the honour fell to Bert who will be 99 in 2 weeks and Danielle who is 19.
Birchwood Heights is a luxury, purpose-built care home with 77 private, en-suite rooms. The home offers residents an air-conditioned cafe bistro, cinema, hair and nail salon, barber, activities room, private dining room, sensory room, therapy room, garden room and multiple air-conditioned lounges, some with covered balconies that overlook the landscaped courtyard garden areas.
Individual care plans are tailor-made to meet each resident’s personal needs, supported by our dedicated team of highly trained team members. Superb facilities and a diverse range of daily activities make Birchwood Heights a beautiful place to call home.
