Beechwood Grove’s Car Park Performance
Residents at Beechwood Grove enjoyed live entertainment from the team at Full Beam Productions
Our residents at Beechwood Grove Care Home enjoyed a live car park performance from the wonderful team at Full Beam Productions in Eastbourne.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic and safety measures being implemented, the home has had to come up with unique ways to make sure residents are being stimulated.
Shows in Homes
The team at Beechwood Grove thought it would be a great idea to host a live performance from the award-winning Full Beam Productions in the home’s car park.
Residents had a great time singing along to Jim and his team as they enjoyed some strawberry mock-tails. The sun was shining throughout the afternoon which made the live performance all the more worth it.
The live entertainment helped in reducing the feeling of isolation among residents and gave them a sense of normality during these unprecedented times.
Lifestyles Manager at Beechwood Grove, Cath Adams said, “Luckily, the weather was very kind to us so we could invite the team here to perform safely and within current guidelines. And it meant we could support local entertainment which was also a positive thing for us to do.”
One resident said, “Fabulous afternoon, we really enjoyed singing and dancing along to live music!”
Jim from Full Beam Productions said, “We’ve been doing outdoor shows since we first began ‘Shows in Homes’! It was a hot one but the residents seem to enjoy it which is always what we hope for.”
After the success of Full Beam Productions’ car park performance, Beechwood Grove are planning more outdoors entertainment in the coming weeks.
The sing-a-long event has been a great lift during this difficult time for everyone who lives and works at the home as well as for the local community.
