Opening in Autumn 2026, Berkshire Manor is a brand-new luxury care home offering residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care to residents from Sandhurst and the surrounding areas. Berkshire Manor has 72 private, en-suite rooms for residents, with state-of-the-art features and facilities available to both residents and their guests.
Sandhurst is a town situated in the Bracknell Forest area of Berkshire, near the Hampshire and Surrey boundaries, with excellent connections to the surrounding towns and cities. Sandhurst is bordered by the River Blackwater and surrounded by picturesque landscapes, featuring nature reserves, the Yateley Lakes and a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Sandhurst is located just 32 miles from London and 5 miles south of Bracknell, with regular public transport services running through the town to the wider area. Visitors can use Sandhurst railway station, which offers routes to and from Gatwick and Guildford, and buses operate regularly between Sandhurst, Yateley and Camberley. For those travelling to the area by car, the M3 and M4 motorways link Sandhurst to Reading, Basingstoke, and Slough.
The town of Sandhurst is world-famous for its military connections as it is home to the Royal Military Academy. Opening in 1812 as The Royal Military College, which later became the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 1947, it is now commonly known as ‘The RMA’ or simply ‘Sandhurst’. All British Army officers are trained at the academy, with world leaders and foreign royals coming from overseas to train at the prestigious military establishment.

Each room comes complete with its own en-suite facilities for complete privacy. For peace of mind, modern nurse-call systems are also included so that, should you need help, it’s available 24 hours a day. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with personal belongings to make them truly feel like home.

You have complete choice over what you wish to eat across the day in each of our care homes. You may request your own personal favourites or choose from the balanced weekly menus that are provided by Oakland Care. All dietary requirements are provided for with fresh produce.

All medical appointments are co-ordinated by the home and will be arranged for you. Under normal circumstances, we encourage family members to attend these with you. In the event that you don’t have anyone to accompany you to an appointment, we can arrange someone to attend with you with sufficient notice, normally around 72hrs.

All of our care homes offer Respite Care for a short-term stay. Doing so also allows guests in our homes to get a feel for the fulfilling lifestyle on offer at Oakland Care.
