Those visiting loved ones in the carbon neutral care home will be able to make use of the ample car parking on-site as well as electric vehicle charging points. For loved ones living further afield than Bagshot and beyond, family and friends of Berkshire Manor residents will be able to receive real-time updates via the Altra+ app.
Bagshot is a large village in Surrey, surrounded by the lush green spaces of Swinley Forest, Lightwater Country Park and three golf courses. Despite its rural appearance, the area of Bagshot has excellent public transport links to the surrounding towns and cities like Bracknell, Basingstoke, Reading and London.
Bagshot is along the old coaching route that connected London to the West Country, with modern motorways and A roads replacing most of the route, these connections from the village to the surrounding areas are still in use today. Due to its idyllic and picturesque location, Bagshot is home to some very famous faces; the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward, lives in Bagshot Park and the England rugby team can often be spotted training on the edge of the village at Pennyhill Park.

For peace of mind, modern nurse-call systems are also included so that, should you need help, it’s available 24 hours a day. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with personal belongings to make them truly feel like home.

You have complete choice over what you wish to eat across the day in each of our care homes. You may request your own personal favourites or choose from the balanced weekly menus that are provided by Oakland Care. All dietary requirements are provided for with fresh produce.

All medical appointments are co-ordinated by the home and will be arranged for you. Under normal circumstances, we encourage family members to attend these with you. In the event that you don’t have anyone to accompany you to an appointment, we can arrange someone to attend with you with sufficient notice, normally around 72hrs.

All of our care homes offer Respite Care for a short-term stay. Doing so also allows guests in our homes to get a feel for the fulfilling lifestyle on offer at Oakland Care.
