CQC Ratings

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent body which monitors and inspects all care homes in England to make sure they meet quality and safety standards.

After a home is inspected, the CQC issues one of four ratings. These ratings range from Outstanding to Inadequate and are based upon how safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led the service is.

You can access the CQC’s full report for each of Oakland Care’s care homes through the links below. If you have any questions about these ratings please get in touch with us on info@oaklandcare.com.

Woodland Grove CQC rating response:

We take all feedback from the CQC seriously and are working closely with the local authority and CQC to make sure the requested changes are made.

We were very pleased the full CQC report contains so much positive feedback from the residents and relatives who use our service each day, and who continue to speak highly of the changes we are making and the hard work of our staff team. This is further reflected in the excellent 9.2 out of 10 rating the home has on the independent comparison website, carehome.co.uk.

Our absolute priority is to make sure residents are happy, healthy and safe. A permanent, experienced Home Manager has been appointed, and will be joining the home shortly. We are confident the CQC will see significant improvements at their next inspection.
